MEMBERSHIP TERMS OF SERVICE
Our membership term length is reflective of an annual plan for your sport/competition. Competition doesnt schedule around you, but we can. We plan and prepare for each distinctive phase ( preparatory phase, pre-competition, competition, transition (off-season)). This may occur once a year or multiple times depending on your sport, level of competition or amount of qualifiers/trials.
But what if you don’t compete in sport is it still necessary to commit yourself to a long term plan? Whether you’re an athlete or not, to achieve your goals requires consistency and discipline to not only develop your physical abilities, habits and behaviors but to avoid detraining those qualities. Olympians train for four years to win by split seconds, jump or throw an extra centimeter or lift a few more grams.
The figures below are a great example of how you could choose to be 1% better every day and when compounded over a year you could be 37 times better than when you started. Or you could get worse by 1% every day. It’s also important to understand that to see the long term benefits and reach your long term goals takes time. We don’t take shortcuts, we don’t promise overnight success. We keep people accountable and don’t allow them to be tempted by short term rewards or instant gratification and instead persevere even when the results and the goals seem far away.
This doesn’t mean you can’t have breaks or holidays but it does allow us to plan ahead so you’re not left unprepared. But consider this; In the course of 30 days
⬇️Maximal Speed declines within 5-7 days without exposure to at +95% of your top speed
⬇️Anaerobic Endurance and Strength Endurance decline within 21 days
⬇️Maximal Strength and Aerobic Endurance decline in 30 days
If you don’t use it, you will lose it. So looking at the figures above and considering how quickly you can detrain after working hard for so long to develop it, what commitment will you make to your long term goals?
